“We are interested in expanding business relationship with India” stated by Maqbool bin Ali Sultan, minister of commerce and industry. He also stated that age-old relationship between these two countries would carry on scaling new heights. He also stated about the firmness of the relationships between these two countries and how both of these countries are maintaining this relationships for a long. But now he wants to expand the relationships with India by Offshore Development to the country. It is also true that India-Oman has the long lasting business relationships since last 50 years. This is also one of the reasons that minister wanted to establish new business relationships with India by the way of Offshore Outsourcing.

He described the relationship between India and Oman from the beginning, how it grew and matured. Both the countries have supported each other in the best possible way to maintain this long lasting relationship for 50 years. Now he wants to expand more business relationships with India for some new offshore services for its country. He also admitted that India had provided facilities to Oman with its manpower skills and expertise in various sectors. He also indicated that the volume of trade between two countries is expanding gradually. He also stressed on the topic of India’s progress in IT industry which is one of the biggest advantages India have, so he explore India’s potential for
IT development and services.
