According to the latest news Shimadzu Analytical is to establish Software Development Center in India. This announcement was done on 15th April 2006 by the company officials. He also declared that company is also expecting to gain the growth of 20% in the time period of next 5 years. Company already has presence in India. Company is now planning to move ahead in IT Outsourcing services to India. Company is already catering to Indian companies in sectors like steel, chemical, polymers, rubber, pharmaceuticals, foundry and many others where chemical analysis is required. And the company is doing well in the country. But recently it was stated by the official of the company that now they are planning to expand their presence by having Software Development Center in India.

The company Shimadzu Analytical (India) Pvt. Ltd is originally from Japan. It is a totally owned subsidiary of Japanese technological instruments service provider Shimadzu Corporation. Company already has remarkable presence in India doing well but now company hopes to grow further at a rate of 20% in the time period of next five years. The main reason behind the expectation of the company is India’s growing economy and precise research and development activities. These two things would help the company to increase the growth rate in India. Stated by the company officials.

Software Development Center in India

Company has expectation that Software Development Center in India will do well as India is the leading most country for IT Outsourcing services. Lots of big MNCs (Multinational Corporations) have their presence in India for the same purpose and they are doing well here. Country is also equipped with the best local brand names that are demanded globally for Offshore Software Outsourcing service. It was stated by the company’s official that India’s GDP and of scientific research and development activities are growing rapidly. That would help company for the better growth rate in the country along with the Software Development Center. In India the analytical/scientific instruments market is roughly around Rs. 500 crore or more. Stated by the MD of the company.

At present the company is growing around 15% in India, but after the Software Development Center in Mumbai, India within the next five year company is expectating to grow at 20%. At present company’s turnover in the last fiscal year was noted Rs 160 crore. But now company is targeting to increase this turnover figure to about Rs 400 crore within the time of the next five years. Stated by the company official. Company’s existence in India would also help the company for their IT Outsourcing service purpose a lot. Company already has a good client database in India.

Initially company is setting up IT Outsourcing service plant in Mumbai. The estimated expense of the overall plant would be around Rs 40 million. This Software Development Center would provide software solution services to improve systematical research and analysis efficiency.
