American lawmakers impel Offshore Outsourcing legislation as more and more development job work is crossing the boundaries of the country. Government is also taking active participation over this issue as the unemployment no. is increasing gradually. Government of America is also to restrict taxpayer dollars from being utilized for Offshore Outsourcing work once done in the United States. This process of sending the development job work to the overseas locations is taking place more in IT Industry as IT Outsourcing has been the most important and frequent process for the IT companies in America. The ultimate reason behind this much IT Outsourcing is the higher development cost in the country.

These IT companies from America takes the help of India and China for the development work and services as the labor cost for development services is almost 5 to 6 times lower than it is in U.S. The United States Senate voted to approve a revision restricting federal tax dollars from being utilized on development jobs going overseas in 2004. Tremendous unemployment can be marked in the country as more and more job work is going to the destinations like and India and China. Protest against the process of sending the job work is also taking place in the country. Because of that there was some effect also on the economy of the country too. That’s why the lawmakers and the government are taking active participation to prevent such situation in the country.

Steps to restrict Offshore Outsourcing

To avoid more and more IT Outsourcing the government has posed some strict rules and charges on such activities. Step like restructure corporate taxes, would ban Offshore Outsourcing in three sections of government contracting and services. They are privatizing of federal work, federal attainment of goods and services and state government attainment utilizing federal funds. These are some of the areas where government has taken some steps to restrict Offshore Outsourcing. According to the news because of the frequent IT Outsourcing to India and China, the local American workers and employees are hurting and unemployment in the country is increasing rapidly.

More and more Offshore Outsourcing seems like that the business form America is not for their own country people and it is there to provide employment to the overseas people. So this is creating bad impact on the mind of the local country people. New trend of IT Outsourcing has totally changed the scenario in the country. The Information Technology Association of America (ITAA) has shown the disagreement with the limits on Offshore Outsourcing as they are gaining lots of benefit by sending development jobs of IT to India and China. Though, it is not clear that how many American companies could potentially be affected by this system but they will have to suffer a lot.
