Brazilian Politec IT Outsourcing Company anticipates receipting over 500mn raise (US$236mn) in the year 2006. The announcement from the spoke person of the company made that Politec IT Outsourcing 2006 sales to go over US$ 236mn. This announcement was done by the Vice President of the company. It indicates the growth of the company for Software Outsourcing services to the globe. This amount would characterize 4.6% growth compared to company’s income of 478mn raise in the last year 2005. He also stated that company is increasing their local business as well as Offshore Outsourcing Business and services.

The figure of the last year suggests that it was a tough time for the company and it required reducing the manpower strength, stated by the Vice President Ribeiro. He also stated that company has shifted away from basic Call Centers Services to offer more value-added application development and maintenance solutions. He declared that company wants to be a full life cycle service facilitator with services, development, maintenance, some Call Center offerings, but mainly technical support and facility.

Part of IT Outsourcing Services

Company is to concentrate on help desk for technical support services and legacy migration as a part of IT Outsourcing services. Company presently has 6,000 employees manpower strength and concentrates on 60-65 large, lasting clients with umbrella agreements and dealings as a part of Offshore Outsourcing Services. Company also has strong ambitions, goals to raise the 5 percent of revenues that come from International business and services at present. This would be covered by the new strategy called “global reach strategy” to enlarge into Offshore Outsourcing activities in North America and in the region of Asia.

Politec has 45-50 people working for United States clients and confirmed US$2.5mn in revenues in that region in year 2005. Company also anticipates US$7mn in the current year 2006 for IT Outsourcing Services. Company previously handled high-end solutions for security efforts for the likes of the FBI, the United States section of state and healthcare companies, stated by him. But now the company is changing its focus to grow its corporate IT Outsourcing services portfolio, mainly with application development and maintenance services. Politec also develop an office in Tokyo almost a year back, and is influencing their Japanese ties to So Paulo. It has the world's largest emigrant Japanese population.

Vice president of the company also stated that company’s aim is to provide Offshore Outsourcing services mainly concentrated on mainframe systems and services. The unit has freshly obtained legal approval to commence operations in Japan. Company doesn’t have revenues yet, as the company is starting up the plant in the Japan. The company also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Chinese IT Outsourcing Company Neusoft to provide software services.
