TCS and Microsoft to set up Software Outsourcing venture in China

The latest news suggests that TCS and Microsoft to set up Software Outsourcing venture in China along with two software parks over there. Chinese Software Development Company is also going to be a part of it. TCS declared that both the companies Tata Consulting Services and Microsoft have been selected as strategic partners for this deal by the Chinese government department. This joint venture will be commenced in Beijing. It was also declared that stated by the TCS that software park will commence its operations for this project in early 2006. TCS is one of the leading most IT Brand names of India and heavily involved in Software Outsourcing and Development Business same as Microsoft. This commencement will add lots of credit to the reputation of TCS globally.

According to the TCS this development center in China will provide Information Technology and other Outsourcing and Development Services to no. of major global market places. This list of the market place includes the big markets such as United States, Europe, China and many other parts of Asia Pacific Regions. TCS itself is one of the largest software outsourcer in India and also provides almost all other IT Development services to its clients in India and around the globe. In this joint venture, TCS India is to hold the majority of the shares, declared by the spokesman of TCS India. TCS already has huge presence in India and it is one of the most demanded Indian IT Brand names globally.

In this joint venture between TCS and Microsoft on the soil of China, two other Chinese companies are the part of this Software Outsourcing venture named Beijing Zhongguancun Software Park Development Company Limited and Tiajnin Huayuan Software Park Construction and Development Company Limited. There were also other contenders such as Wipro, Infosys, and Satyam Computer for setting up the joint venture.
